What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, and it is one of the two main active ingredients in cannabis alongside tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the component of cannabis which gets you high and has psychoactive effects, whereas CBD has a relaxing effect.

In addition to CBD and THC there are many other cannabinoids present in cannabis and these contribute to what is known as the 'entourage effect'.

All Easy Peasy CBD products contain less than 0.2% THC. Each container we sell has less than 1mg of THC to comply with UK law.

What are your CBD profiles?

We have 5 profiles, each based on a distillate, or on one or more isolates of CBD or other cannabinoids. Each profile can be purchased pure, or in CBD Vape Juice or CBD Oil Drops, or as crumble.

CBD Isolate

This profile is made from pure CBD isolate, and is the most cost effective CBD profile.

CBD Broad Spectrum Isolate

Containing 90% CBD isolate and 10% cannabigerol (CBG) isolate as well as other related cannabinoids, this profile provides an 'entourage effect'.

CBD Full Spectrum Distillate

CBD Distillate preserves a high proportion of cannabinoids from the plant. This results in a natural full spectrum of cannabinoids and is considered more effective than isolates. Distillate also has a more distinct and pronounced natural taste than isolate based profiles.

CBG Focus Isolate

A new profile which focuses on the next biggest cannabinoid after CBD: CBG. This profile offers CBG in a 50/50 ratio with CBD. An interesting profile well worth exploring!

CBD Flowform Distillate

CBD Flowform Distillate is one of the finest CBD concentrates on the market. The spectrum is so wide that there is over 30% non-CBD cannabinoids, and the concentrate runs like honey with just a splash of terpenes added.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes are highly aromatic compounds, and are responsible for the majority of the smell and taste of herbal cannabis. These compounds are very volatile and are lost in the extraction process. Terpene flavoured CBD compounds are made by adding back in the terpenes lost in the extraction process. We have crafted 10 terpene profiles to replicate the following strains:

1: Amnesia
2: Candy Jack
3: Critical Jack
4: Gelato
5: Lemon Haze
6: New-York Diesel
7: O.G. Kush
8: Pineapple Express
9: Sour Diesel
10: UK Cheese

What is the Cannabis Trade Association?

The Cannabis Trade Association is the leading trade body for the hemp and cannabis industry in the UK. We are members of the Cannabis Trade Association (CTA11169) and fully support their philosophy:

The CTA is working with the industry to ensure that common sense prevails, and sellers provide products that “say what they are and are what they say”, no more crazy percentage based measurements that take a maths degree to work out, clear concise and above all legal labelling, and lab reports.

What is in your CBD products?

All of our CBD based products are manufactured from isolates or distillates, and mixed with a carrier such as MCT Oil, Hemp Seed Oil or Propylene Glycol (PG), and optionally terpenes. We do not add any other ingredients and never will!

What does 50% strength mean?

This means in every 10ml bottle there is 5000mg of cannabinoids! Exactly how much CBD or CBG or other cannabinoid there is depends on the CBD profile you are using - see product pages for more information.

Will CBD show up in drug tests?

Drug tests look for THC. If you are using Full Spectrum or Flowform profiles these contain THC and you may test positive for THC despite there not being enough for you to have had any THC effects. Although all of our isolate based profiles have no detectable THC in our lab tests and should not result in a positive THC test, if you absolutely can't risk testing positive for THC we recommend you stay away from all our products.

Are your products legal?

Although not UK law, the CBD industry widely requires THC content to be under 0.2% which all Easy Peasy CBD products comply with.

Each container we sell has less than 1mg of THC to comply with a UK law known as the "1mg rule" which states that any THC content of any container must be under 1mg. This rule is not currently enforced, however, we are fully compliant with this rule and supply all our full spectrum and flowform products in suitable containers.

Can I see Lab Reports?

Currently we provide lab reports for all of our base materials. We are in the process of obtaining reports for our mixed products and will update this page when we have them.
